Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Stainless Steel MIG/MAG Welders to join our industrial fabrication team in Latvia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding stainless steel components using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding techniques for various manufacturing and construction applications. Candidates must demonstrate precision, safety awareness, and technical expertise in welding stainless steel to high standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and MAG welding on stainless steel materials and components
- Interpret and work from blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- Set up welding machines based on job specifications
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality using measuring tools and visual assessment
- Grind and clean welds to meet structural and aesthetic standards
- Work with precision and consistency to meet deadlines and quality control benchmarks
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other welders for coordinated work execution
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in a clean and safe condition
- Follow and comply with company and industry welding standards

Qualification

- Certification in welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent)
- Experience with underwater welding (if applicable)
- Familiarity with marine welding codes and industry regulations
- Previous experience working with marine equipment and materials
- Valid passport (for offshore or international projects)

Skill & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG/MAG welding on stainless steel
- Proven ability to read and understand welding blueprints and technical documents
- Hands-on experience with welding equipment, grinders, and measuring instruments
- Good knowledge of welding safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various positions
