Job Description
The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas of the facility are clean, neat, and organized. They will work closely with other members of the housekeeping team to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas including guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and offices.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Collect and dispose of waste and garbage.
- Restock supplies such as towels, linens, and toiletries.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and staff.
Qualification
High School Diploma
Skill & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands: The Housekeeper may be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders or stairs for extended periods. They may also be required to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
