Job Description
A Technical Sales Executive – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) is responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for E&I products across industrial sectors, providing technical consultation and demonstrations to clients, preparing quotations and proposals, coordinating with engineering and procurement teams to meet client specifications, and maintaining strong customer relationships while achieving targeted sales goals.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the E&I sector.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits as required.

Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
Technical Support:

Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable E&I solutions.

Coordinate with internal engineering teams to prepare accurate quotations and system designs.

Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
Market & Competitor Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor offerings.

Provide feedback to management on potential improvements in products or services.
Reporting & Documentation:
-
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipelines.

Prepare regular reports and sales forecasts for management.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
Skill & Experience
Strong technical understanding of E&I products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and ability to travel.
