Job Description
A Site Manager – Fitters Assembly & Pipe Installation is responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site activities related to mechanical fitting, structural assembly, and pipe installation works. The role involves managing fitter teams, ensuring work is executed as per technical drawings and safety standards, monitoring progress and resource allocation, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones within budget and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Project Execution & Supervision:

Manage daily site activities related to fitter system assembly and piping installation.

Supervise site personnel and coordinate with subcontractors and equipment operators.

Ensure work adheres to approved drawings and industry standards.
Technical Oversight:

Review and interpret technical drawings.

Provide technical guidance to assembly teams.

Conduct quality inspections.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
-
Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance.

Conduct safety briefings and report incidents.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:

Track project progress and provide updates.

Identify delays and implement corrective actions.

Maintain accurate site records.
Materials & Resources Management:

Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.

Manage resources and minimize waste.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Skill & Experience
Strong leadership, ability to read P&IDs and isometrics, knowledge of HSE and QA/QC, proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
