Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process within the Bottle Manufacturing Warehouse. This includes managing the production team, ensuring quality control standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The Plant Manager must have strong leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall production process within the Bottle Manufacturing Warehouse, ensuring that all production targets are met or exceeded
- Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Hire, train, and manage the production team, ensuring that all team members are fully trained, motivated, and working together effectively
- Establish and monitor quality control processes to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure that all production runs smoothly and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement improvements in the production process, and to ensure that all customer requirements are met
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability
- Ensure that all production equipment is maintained and serviced regularly, and that any repairs or replacements are carried out promptly
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including production targets, quality control results, and budgetary performance
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
Skill & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Strong analytical and financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, with experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong computer skills, including experience with production management software and Microsoft Office applications
