Responsibilities
The Level 3 Teaching Assistants sought for these positions are expected to play a vital role in the education of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Their responsibilities include collaborating with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons, demonstrating leadership in the classroom, and effectively handling challenging behavior. A positive work ethos and a passion for a holistic curriculum are essential attributes. Flexibility in work location across the school's age range is required, along with a commitment to personal and professional development. The teaching assistants are also expected to act as positive role models for learners, young adults, and colleagues, embodying professionalism and integrity in their approach to the educational environment.
Qualification
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Additional qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or related fields are advantageous.
