Job Description
Assist the teacher in preparing and organizing learning materials.
Support the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional help.
Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
Assist in the assessment of student progress through observation and feedback.
Work with students with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance.
Responsibilities
Excelling as a classroom TA involves continually enhancing teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDco.
elevate standards collaboratively with them, track the progress of specific pupil groups, and lead by example to inspire and collaborate with fellow educators.
Qualification
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Knowledge of special educational needs is advantageous.
Skill & Experience
A pertinent Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, is required. Desirable qualifications include prior experience in an educational setting or working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
