Job Description
As a Project Engineer at Panache Interiors, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of commercial interior design projects, encompassing offices, tables, and various furniture components. Collaborating closely with our design team, clients, suppliers, and construction professionals, you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Work in tandem with the design team to review project specifications, drawings, and plans, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with the project manager, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to procure materials, equipment, and services essential for project execution, while maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement proactive solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Manage project documentation meticulously, including contracts, permits, RFIs, change orders, and other pertinent records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the installation and assembly of interior design elements, meticulously ensuring adherence to design specifications and stringent safety standards.
- Execute comprehensive quality assurance inspections to verify the workmanship and functionality of installed components, rectifying any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, including designers, contractors, and clients, fostering effective collaboration and communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Engage with clients regularly to provide project updates, address queries, and solicit feedback, prioritizing customer satisfaction and project success.
- Participate actively in project meetings, presentations, and reviews, reporting on project status, identifying risks, and proposing actionable solutions as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil),Diploma (civil), architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- Proven track record in project engineering or construction management roles, preferably within the commercial interior design sector.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to interior design and construction.
- Proficiency in project management software, CAD applications, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional certification is advantageous.
