Job Description
As a Cabin Finisher, you will be responsible for the final assembly and finishing touches of aircraft cabins, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform finishing tasks on aircraft cabins, including installation of panels, seats, carpets, and other interior components.
- Inspect and ensure all cabin components meet quality and safety standards.
- Apply finishes, such as varnishes, paints, and sealants, to cabin interiors.
- Install and align fixtures, fittings, and other accessories.
- Conduct final inspections and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a related field is a plus.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience as a finisher, carpenter, or in a similar role, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of finishing techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring manual labor and standing for extended periods.
